Carpet cleaning in Brighton & Hove
Professional hot-water extraction that lifts embedded grit, stains and odour out of the pile rather than pushing it around — and leaves carpets dry in hours, not days.

Why choose us
Hot-water extraction, not just shampoo
Injecting hot solution and immediately extracting it removes the soil rather than leaving detergent residue behind, which is what makes shampooed carpets re-soil quickly.
Dry in hours
High-extraction equipment and air movers mean carpets are typically walk-on dry within two to four hours, not the next day.
Pet and child safe
Low-toxicity solutions with no lingering chemical smell, thoroughly rinsed out of the pile.
Upholstery and stairs too
Sofas, armchairs, dining chairs, mattresses and stair runners — usually the items in the worst condition and the ones most often skipped.

How it works
From enquiry to finished job
- 01
Quote by room
Tell us the rooms, stairs and items. Carpet cleaning is priced by area and item, so the quote is straightforward.
- 02
Preparation
Clear small items and breakables. We move light furniture; anything heavy we clean around unless arranged in advance.
- 03
Clean
Pre-vacuum, pre-treat, agitate, extract. Most homes take two to four hours depending on area and condition.
- 04
Drying
Air movers where useful. Keep the room ventilated and stay off the carpet in socks, not shoes, until it is fully dry.

How this is priced
Priced per room, per staircase and per upholstery item rather than by the hour, so you know the total before we arrive. Booking several rooms in one visit is considerably cheaper than booking them separately.
FAQs
Carpet Cleaning questions
Straight answers, including the ones that are not in our favour.
How long will the carpet take to dry?
Usually two to four hours for walk-on dry, and up to eight for fully dry, depending on pile depth, ventilation and the weather. Keeping windows open and the heating on shortens it noticeably.
Will old stains come out?
Many will. Some will not — dye-based stains, bleach damage and long-set pet urine that has reached the underlay can be permanent. We will tell you honestly at the inspection stage rather than take your money and hope.
Do you clean wool carpets?
Yes. Wool and other natural fibres need lower temperatures, pH-neutral solutions and careful moisture control, so tell us the fibre type when you book.
Can you remove pet odours?
In most cases, with an enzyme treatment that breaks down the source rather than masking it. Where urine has soaked through into the underlay, the underlay itself often has to be replaced — cleaning the carpet alone will not fix it.
How often should carpets be cleaned professionally?
Every 12 to 18 months for a normal household; every 6 to 12 with pets, children or a busy hallway. Regular vacuuming between cleans does most of the work in extending carpet life.
