Cleaners in Saltdean

Saltdean is largely inter-war suburban development - semis and bungalows laid out along the valley and clifftop, with the Grade II* Saltdean Lido at its centre. It has an older resident profile than most of the city, and a good share of our work here is helping people stay comfortably in homes they have lived in for decades.

• Clifftop salt exposure

  Properties on the clifftop take the full force of sea air. Windows, UPVC and exterior paintwork all soil faster, and a four-weekly window round is the sensible default.

• Bungalows are single-storey but not small

  A Saltdean bungalow often has as much floor area as a two-storey house elsewhere in the city. We quote on floor area rather than on the number of storeys.

• Support for older residents

  Many people value a familiar cleaner arriving on the same day. For regular visits we keep the same cleaner and slot, and give notice well ahead of any change.
